WARRANTY COVERAGE
Sun Pumps Solar warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty applies to:
● Sun Pumps – Pumps – 24 months from date of install or 30 months from Date of purchase. Whichever comes first
○ SDS Pumps – 12 months from date of install or 18 months from date of purchase. Whichever comes first
● Sun Pumps – Controllers & Electronics – 2 years from date of install or 30 months for date of purchase. Whichever comes first.
● Non-Sun Pumps Brands – We will assist in warranty claims to the original manufacturer. Warranties may vary depending on the Manufacturer.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
This warranty is valid only if:
● The product is installed and operated according to Sun Pumps Solar’s guidelines.
● The product is used for its intended purpose without unauthorized modifications.
● Proper maintenance and service have been conducted as recommended.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear.
● Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or neglect.
● Damage due to acts of nature (lightning, floods, fire, etc.).
● Modifications or repairs made by unauthorized service providers.
● Any incidental or consequential damage.
WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURE
To make a warranty claim, the customer must:
1. Contact Sun Pumps Solar customer support at spsales@sunpumps.com (928)348-9652
2. Provide proof of purchase, installation details, and a description of the issue.
3. Follow troubleshooting steps as directed by Sun Pumps Solar’s technical team.
4. If required, return the defective product for evaluation (customer is responsible for shipping costs).
WARRANTY RESOLUTION
If a product is found to be defective under this warranty, Sun Pumps Solar will:
● Repair or replace the defective unit at no cost.
● Provide a refurbished or new replacement if the original model is discontinued.
● Cover return shipping costs for validated warranty claims.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Sun Pumps Solar’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective products. Sun Pumps Solar is not liable for:
● Loss of revenue, profits, or other economic damages.
● Costs associated with removal, installation, or labor.
● Any claims exceeding the original purchase price of the product.
WARRANTY TRANSFERABILITY
This warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless otherwise approved in writing by Sun Pumps Solar.
